How Water-Damage.com works

Water-Damage.com is a free service that helps people with water damage reach local restoration companies quickly.

When you send a request, we pass the details (what happened, your ZIP code and how to reach you) to up to three independent restoration companies that serve your area. They contact you, assess the damage and quote. You choose whether to hire anyone, and you pay the company directly.

We are not a restoration contractor, insurer or public adjuster. We don't inspect properties, perform work or handle insurance claims, and we don't guarantee any company's work. Ask any company for proof of licensing (where your state requires it), insurance and references before you hire.

Our guides explain water damage, costs and insurance in plain English and link to their sources. They're general information, not advice about your policy.
